October 2016 Recap

This is a couple of days late, but October flew by so quickly and November started off so busily. October began with warm weather (and some great outside time), but things turned rainy and then quite chilly. Winter doesn't seem that far away now.

I've already uploaded a lot of photos from a number of our October outings and events, so here is the rest of this month's happenings.

Matt has been enjoying his mini athletes class. They have covered hockey, basketball, tennis, and baseball this month.

Hockey

Working through the obstacle course - his balance (or at least confidence in his balance) has improved over the course of the program.

Basketball

Tennis

Baseball - running the bases

Baseball - Taking a swing

Matt has also been keeping up with his soccer clinic.

We took advantage of the weather when it was on the warmer side for some playground time.

Matt is back to enjoying slides as his favorite piece of playground equipment. He likes to do a loop: run up to the slide, slide down, then repeat.
