February Recap

Between the many snowstorms, bitter cold, and school vacation week, our February was not particularly exciting. I've already written about some of our highlights, the Super Bowl, Matt's 15-month doctor's visit, and our Valentine's Day activities, but here was the rest of our month:

We did spend a lot of time at home...

We read a lot of books, most of them together, but Matt read a few on his own.

Matt often helped me prepare dinner.

Enjoying some meatballs

He sometimes played with his toys, including his rings.

He still enjoys riding in his Batmobile.

Here he is practicing mowing the grass for a spring that seems like it will never come

Here he is going for a walk in Daddy's shoes.

He played with play dough a lot...

And kinetic sand...

And his ducks in water, always a favorite activity.

All of that activity can tire a toddler out.

We were able to get out of the house at least some of the time to go to some library programs and checked out some open gyms and play spaces.

Playing in a ball pit

Look!

The dinosaur room is always a favorite at the children's museum.

A musical interlude at an indoor play space

Playing peek-a-boo with some other kids

Prepping some walls for destruction

Practicing his screwdriver skills

Matt enjoyed going down slides.

Trying out a fire engine

Taking advantage of having the whole place to himself for a bit

Riding the zebra

Checking out the moose at the Bass Pro Shops

Looking at the turtles

Answering the phone at the doctor's office in the children's museum

Giving the baby doll a shot at the children's museum's doctor's office

Finally, one last silly video of Matt trying to jump:
