Day After Thanksgiving Outside Time

Rather than participate in Black Friday sales, Matt and I decided to take advantage of the warmer temperatures and sunshine to get outside.

We went on the little nature trail around the cranberry bog.

Setting off

Matt going for a "big walk," as requested

Crossing the bridge

Wondering if anyone is playing hide and seek behind the tree

"Climbing" a tree

Hugging a tree

Digesting our discussion of different kinds of leaves and hibernation

Trying to help the fallen trees get up

Watching the ducks and geese on the water

We also stopped by to see the fish and turtles and scope out the Santa's workshop area. (The line was too long for us to wait for Santa today, so we'll save that for another day.)

"Matt see turtles!" (And we ran into one of his buddies from library story time doing the same thing.)

Watching the train, which sadly wasn't not for playing with or riding

When we got home, we headed to the backyard for a little more outside time before nap.

With his paper towel roll trumpet

Sandbox time

Making sure the bucket is empty
