This weekend we went to not one but two events featuring trucks. Matt seems to think this is a usual occurrence now and is not as easily impressed as one might think.
On Saturday our town held an open house at the fire station for fire safety week.
Matt dressed up in his firefighter outfit at home to prepare.
Matt's favorite part of the outing was "helping" to hold the hose and put out the "fire." He did it three times and would have easily done it many, many more times.

Or maybe his favorite part was stomping in the big puddle (which he helped create).
Stomp! Splash!
He did check out the fire truck...

... and the ambulance.

Andy was actually awake for a morning outing and got to see the trucks, too.

Matt then practiced a little CPR before we headed off to the library to check out some books about fire trucks.

Sunday morning we went to a charity truck pull with a small touch-a-truck component
