Day Camp Fun

A day camp near us hosts fun days, and we've been to several in the past. We went to two in March: one with a Dr. Seuss theme, and one with a Winnie the Pooh theme.

Dr. Seuss Day
This was a beautiful early spring day (with no indication of the many winter storms to come later in the month!), so we enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air. We went to the playground with friends after, so I've included those photos here, too.

A nice day for a drive

Barnyard round up

Nothing runs like a Deere... unless the one riding it is maybe a little too big.

Not interested in a horse ride

Playing the xylophone

Digging in the sand

"Camping" in the wooden shelter

With the pot-bellied pig

Petting the chick

In the schoolhouse

Time for a tasty break in the diner

Working at the grocery store to restock the shelves, shop, and ring up the orders

Whee, swing!

Trucks in sandbox fun

Watching friends

Bouncy horse and dinosaur time

Winnie the Pooh Day
The weather was not as nice this day, so we were happy to have something to do inside.

Back on the quad bike

Slam dunks

Balloon swords (Andy's popped and had to be replaced before we left, but even still only Matt's made it home.)

The boys on balance beams (photos courtesy of Maplewood)

Matt swinging on the gymnastics rings by himself (for the first time?)

Andy crawling through the tunnel

Matt playing toy cars in the garage (hmm, I think we had one of those houses when we were little...)

Andy pushing around a cart, of course

Playing with trucks in sand never gets old
