Matt's First T Ball Season

Matt has started t ball. The town's baseball league runs a co-ed t ball skills clinic for 4 year olds. (Unlike the town's soccer league, which requires that he be going into kindergarten next year, baseball's cutoff is in May.) He won't be playing games just yet, but hopefully even though he's convinced he already knows everything he will learn some basic baseball-related skills and be able to decide as he gets older which sport he would like to play, if he wants to play one at all.

Anyway, the weekend before last was the opening day parade and ceremonies. I took both boys while Jon finished up a school project.

A friend caught me unawares and snapped this shot of us marching with the 4 year old "team."

Hmm, someone looks ready and eager to play.

It's hard to stay focused and listening during speeches.

Last Saturday was the first official practice. Jon took Matt while I stayed home with the napping Andy.
