Playing Tourist in Our City

The first weekend in August we went to several museums. On Sunday we went to a special caterpillar exhibition at the Museum of Science. They had live caterpillars on branches or plants, most without any cages, so visitors could get a close look. We explored the museum for a while, as well. Then on Monday I met up with a friend from high school whom I haven't seen since her wedding maybe a dozen years ago. We introduced our kids to each other, and our 4 and 3 year olds really hit it off, as did the 1 year olds, who are only a few weeks apart. We toured the USS Constitution Museum, which has a lot of great hands on activities for the younger set, and then part of the Freedom Trail before the young ones were done.

Lunch!

We stopped for some quick slices of pizza. They sure tasted good after all of our playing and walking! Matt ate basically a whole slice (equivalent to 1/4 a pizza) by himself, and Andy did a pretty good number on another slice.
